This directory is a membership directory meant to be a quick and easy way to get information about local businesses. In general, businesses further than 15 to 20 miles away are not allowed to post their business here. Our intent is to serve the local business community and local residents, not businesses or residents of nearby cities. Our directory includes all of the following features:

• COMPLEMENTARY BUSINESS LISTING
  Basic membeship is free. This includes an appropriate picture, contact information including website link, social media links, telephone/fax/toll free phone numbers, and as much information about your business as you might care to share.
  • Store Hours
    You can enter store hours for each day of the week, or hide them.
  • Holidays
    You can set standard holiday hour, and add additional holiday/vacation days as you please. For example, you might be closed the day after Thanksgiving, or closed for a week during hunting season, or closed for Inventory. It’s up to you, whatever your business needs might be.
  • Enter Any Business Listing
    You can enter any business’ listing information, assuming you know enough about it so the listing isn’t misleading or incorrect.
  • Claim a listing
    If someone else has entered your business’ information, you can “claim” the listing by contacting the Directory Administrator through the website to make your case.

  Business owners will be able to upgrade their membership to “Premium” or “Featured” status. These listings show up first in any search, display a “Featured” ribbon on their thumbnail, and support additional features such as Image Gallery, Video, and additional social media links not available to the Free Business Listing.
• FAVORITES
  Listings can be marked as a “favorite”, even if you’re not signed into the site (uses a cookie). This allows you to flag all your favorite contractors, providers, and other businesses for easy reference.
• REVIEWS
  Logged-in users can leave reviews for businesses, or reply to existing reviews, so users of the directory can have a better idea of the business services they can expect. If we determine that a reviews isn’t in the community’s best interests, we can hide or delete it. Our goal is a a fair review system meant to inform, not to ruin.
• EVENTS
  Our directory has the ability to enter events, garage sales, and just about anything you might think of. We support recurring events, events spanning multiple days, and more.
• RESOURCE LINKS
  We have the ability to enter resource links that aren’t speciically local businesses. These links might be useful to find local/regional government links, utility companies, and more. We even support a category of Facebook community links (Pay It Forward, Community, Business links).
